| When the snow melts and the sweet scent of blossoms start to fill the air, the apple blossoms are the ones I really look forward to. They stay such a short time and add a feathery softness to the twisting branches. The more blossoms there are..the more I have to look forward to come fall. Like magic - the fresh little petals mark the places where the apples will appear. Peaceful Entrance is a 16" x 20" acrylic painting on wood panel. I triple primed the panel to give it a smooth surface and then layered colors to give this piece an almost egg tempera effect.
