Messenger of Hope

I put a hummingbird feeder out early in the spring...every spring. We don't get a lot of hummingbirds but we do have our regulars. One in particular seems to stay close and perches close to check on us. When this hummingbird is frequenting our house I feel like all is well. He seems to be saying, "I've check things out and we are all in a good place." It's the little messages that make the magic. I hope you have a little bird checking on you too.

Where the Wind Blows

 It's almost time for the annual Leech Lake Regatta so I thought it would be fitting to finish up my latest palette knife painting. This little boat is enjoying the bay all to itself. The pair of sailors are not in a hurry. They are enjoying seeing where the wind blows and exploring the landscape!
