 Kayaks come in all shapes and size around northern Minnesota. No matter what the color or shape - the face expression on the paddler always seems to be one of contentment. You can't see the expression of this paddler but I think you can feel her joy - being out on the water.

Calming Waters *SOLD

I have had requests to paint kayakers over the years but I didn't have kayakers around me to find inspiration from. Then, this spring, my brother and his family invested in a fleet of kayaks - one per family member. They filled the bay with colorful boats and paddle rhythm. Alas - I have a lot of kayaking inspiration!
