Aster •SOLD

Purple, blue and white Asters have been dancing all over the landscape lately. With the rich and moody colors of fall - the cheerful Asters really stand out. I enjoyed going for a walk to capture Asters of all sizes - from sparse petals to full clusters.

Aster - is a brushed acrylic ink painting on 140 lb. cold press Arches paper. This piece is professionally framed with conservation glass to a final size of 9"x15.25". Aster is available at Peculiar Painter in Walker, MN. | 218-547-3729

Push Pole Traditions •SOLD

There is a push pole on display at Peculiar Painter. People often question what the long pole is used for. This pole is used to skillfully guide a canoe through the wild rice. It is beautiful to witness a canoe swiftly move through the rice as the wild rice is harvested every fall. This scene is one I enjoyed observing on Steamboat Bay, Leech Lake in the Fall of 2024.

Push Pole Traditions is a brushed acrylic ink painting on 140 lb. Arches paper. This painting is professionally framed with conservation glass. The final framed size is 14.75"x8.25". This piece is available at Peculiar Painter in Walker, MN.  | 218-547-3729

Lake Light Birch *SOLD

The birch tree painting bug struck in October. It is now February and I'm just finishing this piece. I don't remember a painting ever being on my easel this long. Lake Light Birch has many layers built up to give it the feel of early fall by the lake. I wanted it to feel warm and inviting like your cabin up north.

Lake Light Birch is a 36"x24" acrylic painting on stretched canvas with 1.75" thick stretcher bars and painted edges. It is available at Peculiar Painter in Walker, MN  | 218-547-3729
