| These feisty berries are painted with many layers of reds. Reds of all kind: Crimson, Cadmium, Violet, Red, Red, Red...and some blue and yellow...but mostly red. I call them the Rambunctious Berries. This is a small 12" x 12" acrylic painting on stretched canvas. I have photographed them in direct sunlight [pictured left] and interior tungsten light [pictured right] to demonstrate the dramatic difference light will have on a painting. Come to think of it...light seems to have dramatic effect on my mood as well and i'll bet it effects yours too. cheers |
