Nuthatch Holiday NFS•Prints coming soon

 I have had the vision for this painting since last winter. My In-Laws have a bird feeder that looks like a snowman - when the birds land on it - I can't help but giggle. I imagine a real snowman with the birds sitting on its face. And so - that was the inspiration for this painting. 

I cropped the side of the snowman's face tight so Joel, at Heritage Framing, came up with a shadow box style framing which I think compliments the feel just right.

Susan's Style •SOLD

 Some people just inspire me. Susan, is one of these people. She knows who she is and I can tell she enjoys her life. Her style varies from sporty to refined. I imagine that her closet is a full of wonderful layers to fit every season. I bet she would be really fun to go clothes shopping with. She stopped into the store recently, wearing this nautical jacket, wide leg pants and natural toned shoes - exactly the style I like to paint. I couldn't resist asking if I could snap a few photos for painting inspiration. Hesitantly she agreed. Bittersweet Season 2023

 It's that time of year - Bittersweet harvesting! I found a nice healthy vine and it sparked a new bittersweet berry painting. This one is a little different from my past pieces for 2 reasons. #1 it is painted on a aquaboard panel. #2 - I worked with Heritage framing who created a fun shadow box style frame which gives it a more dimensional appearance.
