Rambunctious Berries

These feisty berries are painted with many layers of reds. Reds of all kind: Crimson, Cadmium, Violet, Red, Red, Red...and some blue and yellow...but mostly red. I call them the Rambunctious Berries. This is a small 12" x 12" acrylic painting on stretched canvas. I have photographed them in direct sunlight [pictured left] and interior tungsten light [pictured right] to demonstrate the dramatic difference light will have on a painting. Come to think of it...light seems to have dramatic effect on my mood as well and i'll bet it effects yours too. cheers

Cubic Nouveau

Two of my favorite art movements are Art Nouveau and Cubism. In this small 12" x 12" painting I combined the bold colors in Cubism with some of the swirl movement I love in Art Nouveau. Cubic Nouveau is the result. This piece is acrylic on stretched canvas.

Polka Dots of Spring

Thoughts of warm breezes and fresh starts have been on my mind this winter. This little fawn is a representation of Springtime. This piece is a small 8" x 8" acrylic painting on stretched canvas.
