"Branding Day," is a 36" X 24" oil painting on canvas.
ReplyDeleteMy first experience at a Montana Branding was at the Dawson Ranch near Cardwell. All the cowboys, cowgirls were very respectful of the animals and sat so confident and strong in their saddles. Josie and I shot about a thousand photos and agreed this was true Montana style. This particular painting was inspired by a photo Josie shot.
More branding day paintings are sure to be inspired from this day.
