Take a Pup for a Ski •NFS

My end of the year paperwork is pretty much done...which means my mind can settle and sketch. I have so many paintings I am eager to get to! This painting has been in my mind for a year. It is of my sister and her dog - out for a ski on the frozen lake. I have some minor adjustments to make and then it will be on its way to her. I will have cards available at Peculiar Painter soon!

Take a Pup for a Ski is acrylic ink on 140 lb. cold press paper. I thought it would be fun to show the sketch that lives below the painting. This is perhaps the fastest painting I have ever created. Painted size is 6"x9". NFS

Call of Summer *SOLD

 Who doesn't think of the loon call when they think about spending time on the lake? I look forward to the pair of loons that have become friendly and swim and fish near me as I paddle in the bay. Their intricate design is a gorgeous dance of my favorite patterns - stripes and polka dots!
