 When a visitor stopped by the shop, this summer, wearing a wonderful striped dress - I knew I had to paint her. I pictured her in a market scene. I couldn't decide between an art fair, farmers market or festival...so I combined some of my favorite things from all of these. We have textiles, tents, flowers and pottery displayed in this scene. I hope you feel the freshness of a fun outfit, new haircut and gathering of hand crafted goods with this piece.

Oriole's Song •SOLD

The Oriole seems to be a favorite of many people. How can it not be with its beautiful song and bright orange beauty. I had a request to paint another small canvas with the Oriole and since they are so fun to paint I was glad to do it.

 The setting summer sun on a hot evening at an empty beach with perfect sand = summer bliss. That is what I was trying to capture with this piece. I hope you can feel it.
