This painting was inspired by color. After putting some cuttings of fuchsia colored flowers into a yellow and green vase - I couldn't stop looking at the color combination. The original color inspiration was not a Geranium but a Geranium is what I imagined as my model for this color combination AND I just happened to have a Fuchsia Geranium to inspire me.
I didn't quite capture the color Fuchsia that I see but it's close. ...hence the name Almost Fuchsia. This is a 12" square acrylic painting on stretched canvas. It is available at Peculiar Painter in Walker, MN. for $285.00 | 218-547-3729
