"Friend's Unite" is a small 12" X 12" acrylic painting inspired by a scene I came across when I first moved back to Sandpoint. I was biking around south Sandpoint on a perfect fall afternoon when I saw what had to be two friends that hadn't seen each other in some time rushing to greet each other. The woman handed her friend a bottle of wine and he grabbed it as if it was secondary to the hug he wanted. It was a fun scene to witness.
ReplyDeleteThe background is inspired by a photo from "Sunset magazine" and an article on cozy spaces. This porch spoke to me and the photo lives on my inspiration board.
I love your paintings Jessie. I think you do incredible work. "Friends Unite" is my next favorite....
