Bay View Sunset *SOLD

Nothing says northern Minnesota like a paper birch overlooking the lake. I was inspired by an old soul birch which sits near town and over looks the bay. It's bark is peeling and branches wind in every direction.

This piece is layered and textured with brush strokes to give it depth. Cobalts play off of crimson, teal and yellows to keep your eye moving from bark to leaves to distant sunset.
