Embrace the Day •SOLD

 Embrace the Day _ is the latest in my Walker, Minnesota painting series. I had this vision, on a warm, blue sky, no wind day, late last summer. Part of the joy of living in this area is the anticipation of getting out on the water. When your days work is done and you find a little space to get outside and feel the water, sun and hear the birds call - something in you calms, balances and resets. This piece is about the moment you find your space.

The joy and lightness that surrounds friendship is like nothing else. I see friends that go back a few years to decades, wandering town and enjoying being together and reminiscing about the past.
