As It Should Be

As it Should Be - is about a feeling. I hope it conjures up feelings of days where your space is clean and everything is in its place. You have no agenda except creating a peaceful environment with music and candles. The coffee is brewed exactly as you like it. The day is yours and everything is as it should be. Can you feel it?

As It Should Be - is a brushed acrylic ink painting on 140 lb. Arches paper. It is professionally framed with non-glare glass. This final framed size is 24.5"x26.75". This piece will be available at Peculiar Painter in Walker, MN. Price is $1,200.00 | 218-547-3739

Cards and prints on paper will be available soon.

Shingobee View *SOLD

One of my favorite places to visit, in Minnesota, is Shingobee national forest. This is probably because it has elevation variation and a variety of terrain. It is beautiful there, no matter what the season.

My attraction for textile design is combined with the terrain of Shingobee for this little painting. One Fall afternoon, I sat at the top of Shingobee hill and sketched the forms of the forest in simple repeating shapes. The result is this colorful - abstract - textile feeling painting.

Shingobee View is a 9"x12" acrylic painting on stretched canvas. It is available at Peculiar Painter in Walker, MN | 218-547-3729

Path to the Sunnyside *sold

This tiny little painting makes me smile. It is based on a road that leads to my favorite pottery studio. The road was once lined by huge cedar trees. The summer of 2007 brought a big wind storm which took down some of these beauties but I took a photo before the storm and this painting is my interpretation of that bright little road that leads up to Sunnyside Pottery.

Path to the Sunnyside is a small 5" x 5" acrylic painting on a 2" thick stretched canvas.
Available at Peculiar Painter in Walker, Minnesota for $50
