Sandpoint, ID holds a Thursday evening regatta in the summers. During my first year in Sandpoint, I had a routine of biking to the races after picking up Thai food to enjoy as I perched at the end of the rocks and watched the boats. I looked forward to Thursdays and seeing the regular sailors playing with the wind. I still picture the smile and waves as the sailors glided back to the docks.
