Take to the Sky has been something I have been wanting to paint for months. The extremely cold winter in Minnesota this year has my mind dancing with visions of flying on warm air currents. The bright primary colors contrast the scene out my window the last few months. The snow is gone and it's time for color to burst in. It's time to get outside and shed the layers. It's time to be outside and play. Take to the Sky is a welcome to leaves on the trees, birds in the sky, sun shining down and warm breezes on our skin....or feathers.
